About Torna Fort
Torna Fort is situated about 40 km southwest of Pune, Maharashtra, India and is the first fort which was conquered by Shivaji in 1643. Shivaji renamed the fort Prachandagad, and constructed several monuments and towers within it. It is the highest fort in Pune district.
