Most of you are aware of the value of Jeevan Vidhya workshops. IIIT is already making great progress in getting this rolled out in JNTU and other universities in Punjab and UP.
I am planning to get this introduced into schools in the state. As a first step, we would like to conduct a one day Shivir for school principals in Hyderabad.
The session will be held on Thursday August 9th at Andhra Yuvathi Mandali building in Barkatpura. The shivir will be conducted by Prof Pradeep Kumar Ramancharla, from IIIT, who is an exponent and practioner of Jeevan Vidhya.
Each school can be represented by the Principal and 1 or 2 senior teachers. The idea is to involve the decision makers and next level will be conducted for the teachers in the schools. Target is to get about 30 schools for this session. Lunch, coffee will be provided at the venue. There is no charge for the session, but we might just seek donations for the food costs.
I seek your help in reaching out to as many schools as possible in the twin cities. I know many in this group are working in the field of education and are directly associated with schools. Could you please provide me connection or contact with the schools that you are associated with? I am happy to talk to them directly or come along with you for introduction.
