Born and brought up in Hyderabad. BTech Computer Science from IIT-B in 2004 and then MS Computer Science from University of Washington at Seattle in 2006. Founding editor of Tattva - an international magazine for Hindu Youth. First fellow of 'Yuva for Sewa' a sewa internship program of Sewa International. Volunteered for 2 months in Suriname, South America. Worked in Amazon for 3 years and returned to India in Sep 2009. Started YFS Hyderabad chapter in Feb 2010'.
