Let us know about her,
Rubina was born in Hyderabad in 1963. Her father is Col Khan, Electrical and mechanical engineer and her mother
is Kaneez Fatima Khan, Teacher. She was married to Syed Mazharuddin, he Works
in sales in gulf region. She has two children Nabeel and Nishat.
She had completed
her Education in convents and Kendriya Vidyalayas across India - Secunderabad ,
Jodhpur, Pilani , Tezpur and Bangalore .Later
she has completed B .com from Osmania University and studied Social initiative
Post graduation Diploma in Center for social initiatives management.
Career
She worked in
Middle east for 9 years after getting married and always interested in
volunteering for social causes . Later she returned to Hyderabad and set up an
English language training institute but it was Failed and she shut it down
after 2 years but she learnt about business.
She set up another
entreprenewal venture for trainings and placements and she ran it succesfully
for 7 years . While running the business she had Joined an NGO and started
volunteering . The Interest in Volunteering is one of the reason to start the
SAFA. While running the business She started SAFA NGO.At one time is like that she had to choose
between SAFA or business and She chooses SAFA.Since then she didn’t
look back and am now she is the prominent figure in development circles .
For her service she acheived,
- Fellowship award by Sadguru Gnanananda
- Fellow in aspire circle - leadership network
- Awarded many other citations etc
Cultural Activities,
- She has been interested in writing free verse and articles in English and now in Hindi .
- Many articles were published in local and national dailies/ newspapers .
- She was National level badminton in high school.
- Yoga practitioner
- She was learning hindustani vocal and acoustic guitar now

Ans: Courageous

Ans: I encounter
challenges everyday and my focus remains to look at the solution and being
objective .

Ans: All
the women I work with . I learn resilience from them

Ans: When my centers are being replicated
and young girls / women say they get inspired by my work

Ans: There are no failures and only learnings . we need to learn and move on
. Also there are no short cuts to success .
