eClerx and NASSCOM Foundation Train480+ Underserved Engineering Students on Employability Enhancement Skills











The students were trained for in-demand job roles of Analytics and CRM (Non-Voice)

Mumbai, 4th May 2017: eClerx – a global provider of critical business operations services to over 50 Fortune 500 companies and NASSCOM Foundation, announced the completion of training of480+ engineering students under the eSkills Employability Enhancement Programme. 
The eSkills Employability Enhancement Programme is an eClerx CSR initiative and is conceptualized and governed by NASSCOM Foundation. Under the program, the students were trained on industry aligned courses in Analytics and CRM (Non-voice) through an on-campus approach across six tier-2 and tier-3 colleges. From the 530+ enrolled students, 64% were girls. A total of 480 cleared the final NASSCOM Sector Skills Council’s certification examination.
The training was imparted by Mind Map Consulting, one of India’s leading vocational training organizations. The benefitting colleges include Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and DY Patil College of Engineering from Pune, Somaiya College of Arts and Science and Datta Meghe College of Engineering and Technology from Mumbai and MCM DAV College for Women from Chandigarh.

While congratulating the students on their graduation, Mr. P. D. Training was imparted to the students in accordance to the guidelines set forth by the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) through a classroom based, instructor led framework. The programme equipped the target beneficiaries with the SSC NASSCOM Qualification Pack for CRM Non-Voice QP 2211 and Associate Analytics QP 2101.

Apart from the technical-knowledge-related curriculum, the programme also trained beneficiaries on life skills, functional English oral and written communication skills, business etiquette, problem solving, time management, customer orientation, interview skills, and other soft skills enabling them to find employment across the IT-BPM industry.
