Flora Fountain speaks epics of the magnificent past. The fountain stands exactly at the point where the original Church Gate of Bombay Fort stood. Constructed in 1864, Flora Fountain was built as the memorial of Sir Henery Bartle Edward Frere. It was built out of Portland stone, and now is an important landmark of the area.
