Day 01: Chennai (Madras) Arrival
Upon your arrival in Chennai, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will escort you to a hotel for check in and overnight stay.
Day 02: Chennai (Madras)-Trichy (Tiruchirapalli)
In morning, after having your breakfast, you go for a sightseeing tour to explore the important tourist attractions of Chennai. Thereafter, you will go to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Mahabalipuram is famous for the seven pagodas. You may visit the group of ancient rock hewn temples, which depicts the finest architecture of Dravidian style. Kanchipuram is known as city of 1000 Temples. There, you will explore the beautiful temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. After checking out of the hotel, you will be transferred to the railway station to board overnight train to Trichy.
Day 03: Trichy (Tiruchirapalli)
Upon arrival in Trichy in the morning, you will check in to a hotel, relax and get ready for afternoon tour of the city. The place is famous for temples. The Rock Fort, Sri Rangnathaswamy Temple, Jambukeshwara Temple, Mariamman Temple, Samayapuram are some of the prominent tourists attractions, which you will explore. Your overnight stay will be in Trichy.
Day 04 Trichy (Tiruchirapalli)-Madurai
After having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and will be driven to Madurai. On the way, you will have a stoppage at Tanjore. At Tanjore, you will visit the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeshwara, which is built by implementing the old technique used by the Egyptians for building pyramids. Its bronzes and handicrafts make Tanjore one of the highlights of a visit to South India. After exploring Tanjore, you will continue your onward journey to Madurai. You will reach Madurai in the night, where you will check in to a hotel and retire for the night.
Day 05 Madurai
In the morning, you will have breakfast and then go for a visit to the great Meenakshi Temple, followed by a visit to Tirumala Nayak Palace Alagar Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock temple. Afternoon is kept free for you. You will be staying in the hotel, during the night.
Day 06 Madurai - Periyar (Thekkady)
In the morning after having breakfast, you will be taken for a drive to Periyar National Park. There, you can opt for a cruise on Periyar Lake. While enjoying your boat ride, you will get to catch a glimpse of elephants, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, langur monkeys, etc. Your overnight stay will be in the hotel in Periyar.
Day 07 Periyar (Thekkady) - Cochin (Kochi)
In the morning after having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and will be driven to Cochin. You may reach Cochin till late evening. There, you will check in to a hotel and stay during the night.
Day 08 Cochin (Kochi)
In the morning after having breakfast, you will be taken to a city tour of Cochin. The place is popularly known as Queen of Arabian Sea. Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques, Hindu temples, Fort Kochi, amusement park, Dutch Palace, Bolghatty Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets are few prominent tourists’ attraction of Cochin. You will return to the hotel by late evening and will stay there, during the night.
Day 9 Cochin (Kochi) - Bangalore - Mysore
In the morning, you will check out of the hotel and will be transferred to the airport, to board a flight to Bangalore. Upon your arrival in Bangalore, you will directly leave for Mysore, by road. Your night stay has been scheduled at a hotel in Mysore.
Day 10 Mysore
After having breakfast, you will proceed towards the visit of the palace of the Maharaja, which was built in 1911-12. You will also visit the famous Art Gallery; after that drive up to Chamundi hill and witness a panoramic view of Mysore and visit Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back, you will get to see Nandi Bull. Afternoon is kept free for you - you may explore the local market or just relax in your hotel room and retire for the night.
Day 11 Mysore - Belur - Halebid - Hassan
In the morning, your will be driven to Hassan. On the way to Hassan, you will explore Belur and Halebid. The Chenna Kesava temple of Belur represents Hoysala art and Halebid's Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples are master pieces of Hindu art. Your night stay is scheduled to be in a hotel of Hassan.
Day 12 Hassan - Hospet
After having breakfast, you will be driven to Hospet. Visit Hampi, which was once the beautiful capital city of Vijayanagar Empire. The city was terribly ruined by the Sultanates of South in 1565. Some of the interesting ruins remaining are the Virupaksha, Vittala and Hazara Rama temples huge Ganesha and Narasimha images, the elephant stables, the Queen's Bath, carvings on the Ramachandra temple & Lotus Mahal. You will return to the hotel by the evening and retire for the night.
Day 13 Hospet - Badami
You will be leaving Hospet in morning and will be driven to Badami. On the way, you will have stoppage at Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole is the cradle of stone temple architecture of the southern Dravida School. The Durga temple, the Meguti temple, the Ravanaphadi Cave, the Sanghameswara Temple, the Mallikarjuna Temple Virupaksha temple and the Papanatha Temple are worth visiting. You will reach Badami by late evening. There, you will check in to a hotel and retire for the night.
Day 14 Badami
In the morning after having breakfast, you will go for a sightseeing trip, covering important destinations in Badami. The place, also known as Vatapi, is enriched with Hindu and Jain temples that are carved out of sand stone hills. You may also explore some more temples there. The Malegitti Shivalaya temple, set on the top of a hill, is a must-visit. Thereafter, you will return to the hotel and retire for the night.
Day 15 Badami - Goa
In the morning, you will check out of the hotel. Thereafter, you will be driven to Goa. You may reach Goa by mid-afternoon or early evening. After reaching Goa, you will check in to a hotel and relax. You can also visit the local market. Your overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 16 Goa-Mumbai
You will check out of the hotel in the morning and will be transferred to the international airport, to board a flight to Mumbai. From Mumbai, you may board flight for onward journey.
