BIRTH AND EDUCATION

He was born on May 08, 1969, B.Com from Kakatiya University, MSW from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Shivaji University, M.Phil from MSS Institute of Social Work, Nagpur University, (PhD) S V University, Tirupati.

Family

Father : MOHAMMED SARVAR, Retired Station Superintendent, South Central Railway, currently looking after private school administration.

Mother : Now, God is taking care of my mother. "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." Sometimes memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

About his wife and children

Myself, my wife / spouse have 2 teenage college going sons. I have been married for 20 years. For the sake of privacy I am not using their names.

He told about his Spouse : I love this woman, Proverbs comes to mind when I want to find a way to describe her - “Iron sharpens Iron and one man sharpens another". I am blessed to be married to a lady who is "Sharp" and discerning but also gentle and loving enough to help me and others become sharpened as well. She is wise and patient. A woman of God's own heart, she loves the Almighty, seeks his will in all her decisions, and takes seriously her responsibility to raise up our children to know the Almighty too. Almighty has blessed me with a wife who is easy to follow and trust.

Elder Son: Is a gentle, calm and quiet sprit with a unique braining sense of humor that catches you by surprise. This calm guy never seems to get angry or worked up about anything. At first glance he seems shy, but as you get to know him, you realize he is quite soul and his words are simply few. A "STEM" oriented guy, he excels at his academics. His crazyness of playing football and mobile games. He is a true picture of grace and sweetness, and pocesses a unique love for Children, poor people make him a well-rounded young man.

Younger Son: He bears a striking resemblance to his father, first of all his looks and behavior. He also shared his Dad's enthusiasm. He is fond of playing football. He has a will stronger than any of our family members but we daily see hints that his character is being shaped. No doubt about it, he will grow into an influential man someday, and our goal is to train him to influence it for good and for Almighty. He doesn't always obey very well, but he is awfully cheerful about it and we are slowly improving in that area of his life. He loves anything Western, and crazy/ prefers to use Branded items everywhere we go.

We asked him presently he works for, he said,

Currently I am doing NIH (National Institutes of Health, An agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) supported advanced training on behavioral intervention with emphasis on HIV and TB and its relationship to transmission fellowship at University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
Also associated with anti human trafficking program in Hyderabad, looking after TS, AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Rajasthan states.

CARRER DEVELOPMENT

Began my career from 1996 - 2001 served for various Research projects as Research Assistant with a premier Research and Consultancy Institute, leading teams of Research Investigators and successfully completed the projects.

 Later from 2001 onwards worked for various International Organizations for its community projects. Conducted / facilitated several camps, surveys and played key role for "AIDS Walk for Life" campaign.
 As a Consultant, I have supported scores of NGOs / Non-profit organizations, small and large CBOs (Community based Organizations) and to get the word out about their work, recruit new staff, volunteers and develop creative strategies that worked, all on limited financial and staffing resources.
 I am good at taking loads of information and boiling it down in to essentials whether it's creating a Two-bedroom white paper out of mountains of research or writing a short concept notes and donor profiles. I have used these same skills to in person workshops / trainings / capacity building programs.
 In positions as a Project Director / Project Coordinator, I over saw the disbursement / forward granting of grants to NGOs. As a NGO Project Director) Consultant I have also written successful grant applications. I understand what it's like to be on both sides of proposal.
 I have served as Board Member for few Organizations. I appreciate the big picture and minutiae of running successful NGOs.

Special Interview of a Special person

(Q) How would you describe yourself in one word?
Ans: Apprehensive and valiant Everywhere I go, whatever I do, whenever I speak, people seem to automatically categorize me as different. It's like I've never blended in the crowd. I stick out like a sore thumb (different within the crowd, different from the crowd).

(Q) Give an Example of a time when you solved an analytically difficult problem?
Ans: There are some interesting valiant examples dealt / solved which cannot be shared openly.

(Q) What is your favourite Quote?
Ans: “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”

(Q) Whom do you like to credit your role model as --- Why?
Ans: 1. Umar Ibn Al-Khattab one of the strongest opponents of Islam to one of its staunchest believers. Umar was a pioneering figure in the Islamic world. He was a leader, a statesman, a pious and God-conscious Muslim who showed respect for all individuals including non-Muslims and he ordered the Muslims to treat non-Muslims with respect. He showed us how to apply the Quranic injunction ‘there is no compulsion in religion’.
2. Bhagat singh was an outright socialist who believed in molding India into a secular, federal, democratic, socialist nation in which exploitation of one man by other would be impossible. He believed in collective action by the masses rather than individual heroism to overthrow British rule.
Because human beings learn so much through imitating the behavior of others it is important that they choose or are given access to good role models.

(Q) Which is your best achievement?
Ans: yet to achieve

(Q) Tell us about a situation causing the feelings of regret in your career? If any?
Ans: Yes, many a times, because of some situations lead to regret in my career.

(Q) What message you want to pass for our upcoming generations?
Ans:
1. Be simple, humble and authentic, be true to yourself...look for equilibrium and when life gives you hard knocks, remember that at the end it all balances itself out.
2. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. Should work with high skill and behave ethically in his/her assignment.
3. Avoid blindly following or criticizing politicians and political parties all the time. We should just focus on their actions rather than just their words. After all they never hesitate to become friends as and when required.
4. Make friends with people of other religions, at least one from each faith. It helps one to identify the hate mongers and impediment their political mileage in long run.
